Healthy Twix Bars

This Healthy Twix bars have many nutritious benefits!

They are gluten free, the crust is made from almond flour. Almond flour is very beneficial because it is nutritious, easy to digest and high in protein. The caramel layer is rich in healthy fats from the homemade peanut butter. Peanuts are gluten free and also high in protein. The caramel layer is sweetened with organic bee honey. Organic bee honey is not only a natural sweetener but can be used as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti bacterial agent. Finally the chocolate layer is made from 70% caco chocolate chips. Caco is great for our healthy it is filled with a nutrient called flavonoids. Flavonoids have shown to lower blood pressure and increase blood flow, while also providing anti-inflammatory benefits. A serving of this dessert is a extremely nutritious way to satisfy your sweetness cravings.






Ingredients :


Crust:


-1 1/2 cup almond flour

- 3 tbs coconut oil

- 2 tbs honey

- 1 pinch of salt


Caramel layer:


- 1 cup peanut butter

- 1/3 cup honey

- 1/4 cup coconut oil

- 1 pinch of salt


Chocolate Layer:


- 3/4 cup dark chocolate Chips

- 1 tbs coconut oil


Instructions :


Crust:


Combine all crust ingredients and place in an 8x8 pan.



Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes


Caramel Layer:

Place all caramel layer ingredients in a small pot and melt.




Place tha carmel layer into the crust and freeze for 10 minutes.



Then melt dark choco chips with coconut oil in a small pot .



Then add on top of the caramel layer.


Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for about an hour.



Cut serve and enjoy!
